Fundraising first steps

Step 1
Reach out to your patient’s family and introduce yourself.

Step 2
Ask the parents to provide you with a story of their child’s journey at Children’s Hospital Colorado and a photograph.

Step 3
Update your personal fundraising page on the courage classic website. Include details such as why you feel passionate about riding in the courage classic, your fundraising goal (at least $1000) and share your patient’s story and photo. You can even change the URL to include your name.

Now you are ready to fundraise! Share your page with family, colleagues, friends as well as your patient’s family. There are many fundraising tips on the Foundation’s website.
